On the 21st of June, Wolfson College will be throwing it’s anually approved-of, and always awesome, June Event. This year’s theme is “Wolfstock” (geddit?) and the June Event will start at 20:30 and continue until 04:00 the following morning.
MUSIC AUDITIONS 9th Feb:
We will hold auditions for bands and soloists on Saturday (9th) between 10 am – 4 pm in the Wolfson College Seminar Room. In order to keep things smooth and quick we would prefer if bands that have the possibility to play unplugged would do so (of course you can play amplified at the actual event). COMEDY AUDITIONS 16th Feb:
We are throwing a special Howler (of course you know about the Wolfson Howler) during it, and are looking for five to six acts who will perform ten(ish) minutes each (sketch and musical comedy is welcome too). It will be in an intimate and relaxed setting and the doors will be closed while the acts themselves perform, we will have a compere on hand to keep the transitions between acts smoothe.
And, for your ten(ish) minute set, you will earn a free ticket to Wolfstock, replete with all the booze and food and music and ents you could want. If you’re interested in performing then auditions are being held between 11:00 and 16:00 on the 16th Feb in the Seminar Room at Wolfson College, in what we really can’t call a facsimile of the environment you’ll be performing in but it’s the best we can do without providing strangers with free alcohol.
