Ever wanted to play baroque music on period instruments?

The University’s Collegium Musicum loans out baroque instruments (strings, wind and brass) and comes together several times a year to perform 17th- and 18th-century music under the direction of Margaret Faultless (Director of Performance Studies). This year’s highlights include concerts at West Road Concert Hall and St John’s and Girton Colleges, a Gabrieli project in collaboration with the CU Chamber Choir and His Majesty’s Sagbutts and Cornetts, and a side-by-side workshop with the Academy of Ancient Music.

We are looking for musicians who are enthusiastic about the baroque repertoire to join the ensemble.
Auditions will be held on Wednesday 10th October – if you think you might be interested please email the Collegium’s administrator Emily Ashton at emilyashton1000@gmail.com for further information. Please give brief details of your experience as a performer.
