‘The Cambridge Phenomenon’, written by second year Hughes undergraduate Kate Kirk, has been chosen as the book to launch this year’s Winter Wordfest, which kicks off at 6.30pm on Friday November 23 in the Union. Kate’s book is about the history of the world-leading technology entrepreneurship scene in Cambridge, but if that isn’t your thing, there’s plenty of other stuff at Wordfest to get your teeth into, from Rose Tremain to John Hegley, and from Jack Straw to Antonio Carluccio.
