$80k NYC Job / £600 commission

Dear Students,

Here is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding female finalist or graduate.

A prominent New York family is looking for a female Private PA/Nanny/Mentor on a two-year minimum contract, with a $80,000 per annum salary. The successful candidate would be given an apartment in Downtown Manhattan for the duration, spend some time in Paris, and enjoy international travel.

An excellent academic record and relevant experience are both essential, so certain graduate or mature students might be well suited. Here is the job description-

“An exceptional and dedicated person is required to join a dynamic team looking after an individual and her family in New York. The successful candidate will be caring for/mentoring our client’s three children aged 12, 10 and 2 and must have a very clear understanding of their needs. A bright, positive, and proactive individual will relish the opportunity to engage with the children and be a positive role model. Previous childcare experience within a similar situation is required, as is a very strong CV/academics and a great love of children. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of personal and business requests. The ideal candidate could be a fluent French speaker, although this is not imperative. The successful candidate will be bright, articulate, hard working and discreet.”

We will help you with your application so only a basic CV is required at this stage.

To refer somebody, just advise them to send their CV and say that their referral came through you and the Cambridge network, even if they are not attached to the University- this is just to ensure that you receive your £600 if they are hired.

So please do think if you know anyone suitable and pass this on. Earlier this year, the same family employed a Cambridge graduate student referred by a friend of hers who then won a similarly sizeable commission.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Best,

The Sanctuary Search Team
