Team Up are looking for enthusiastic and driven undergraduate and postgraduate students to join our challenging Rising Leaders programme, inspiring secondary school pupils through mentoring and tuition.
We provide excellent training and aim to help you to find out more about how to teach, lead, inspire and motivate. After training you will join a team of students on your campus and apply your skills to support a small group of local secondary school pupils. You will also access additional training and networking opportunities with our Programme Supporters (such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Teach First and other top graduate recruiters) where you will develop key skills that will improve your professional development.
The programme will last for 16-20 weeks during term-time, for one and a half to two hours per week.
This is a fantastic learning opportunity and you will make a difference to young people in your community.
Places are extremely competitive and so early applications are encouraged. Last year we received 1,600 applications and some incredible student feedback – 9 out of 10 students said they enjoyed the programme.
