Love travelling? Love acting? Love children? You’ll love the Rickshaw
Theatre Project.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team for this year’s Theatre in
Education trip around India and Nepal.
Over the last seven years groups of performers have travelled to India and
Nepal in August/September visiting schools and NGOs with the aim of taking
theatre to disadvantaged children and teenagers. The full cost of the tour
is around £1000. However, last year we managed to secure a minimum of £400
each for all tour members from external sources, and many individuals
managed to get additional college and university grants.
Applications should include:
1. Why you want to get involved
2. What you think you would bring
3. An outline of any performance experience
4. An outline of any teaching experience
5. An outline of any experience travelling in other countries.
Informal interviews and/or workshops will take place on the weekend of the
9th-10th March. Please include details of availability in your application.
