The Christmas Forest is recruiting bright, friendly, fit students to sell Christmas Trees in London in December, working two to four shifts a week. A typical shift is 8 hours long. Hourly rate £8.5/h, paid weekly.
We have 8 sites around London – Clapham, Richmond, Putney, Ealing, Dulwich, Islington, Stoke Newington, Kensal Green. Open throughout December (8am-10pm) till Christmas Eve. You must be available to work the weekends of 7th/8th & 14th/15th Dec. For an idea what our Forests’ look like, visit www.christmasforest.co.uk
Our trees come from sustainable plantations and we have strong links to the charity Tree Aid, to whom we donate a considerable sum each year.
This is outdoor work selling trees in all weathers! The atmosphere in our ‘Forests’ is fun, friendly but industrious. It is physical work carrying, tagging, selling and netting trees for 8 to 9 hours a day. If you don’t like the great outdoors/ manual work, this may not be the job for you. However, many Cambridge students come back to us year on year because they enjoy the job so much.
