With the jolly season of PhD applications well underway, the Hat Club is excited to announce the following experiment for coming Thursday, November 7th.
Nik Darshane (Department of Psychology), and colleagues present
To PhD, or not to PhD, (and how to PhD)
This experimental Hat Club evening is aimed at Hughesians who are thinking of continuing as PhDs next year. The ‘gist’ is to have current PhD students from various fields and different years give a glimpse into the typical course of a PhD project, including everything that can go horribly wrong at various stages of the journey.
