The Pembroke Players Japan Tour is now in its eighth consecutive year and offers Cambridge students from across all Colleges the opportunity to take a Shakespeare play to Tokyo and to run drama and language workshops with Japanese students.
As the Tour Manager you’ll need to make this happen. You’ll choose the play, interview for the Director, liaise with venues, organise publicity, manage the budget and work closely with the cast to support them throughout. It’s an exciting role but does require a significant time commitment from your appointment at the end of November right through to the home run next Michaelmas. However, you’ll be supported through the entire process by our contact out in Japan, as well as by this year’s Tour Manager.
