Applications are open to edit the 2014 Mays Anthology, the collection of the best student writing and artwork from Cambridge and Oxford. Interested candidates should email mays[at]varsity.co.uk by midday on Sunday the 1st of December 2013.
The Mays, formerly the May Anthologies, are published annually by Varsity. The editor or editors will assemble a committee of students to invite fiction and non-fiction submissions of prose, poetry and drama, as well as illustration and photography. The committee also appoints guest editors from the literary world. The May is famous for having launched the career of Zadie Smith and previous guest editors have included Jarvis Cocker, Ted Hughes and Ian Patterson, amongst others.
