The upcoming 130th Football Varsity Match is to be played on the 6th April (The day of The Boat Race). The match is to be played at Craven Cottage, a Premier League football ground (home to Fulham FC), and promises to have a great atmosphere.
The game kicks off at 3pm and will end by around 5pm, at which point, spectators will be able to turn around to a prime location on the River Thames to watch the Oxford and Cambridge Boat Crews do battle, from the start of the course.
Tickets for the whole day are £15, which includes both a drink (pint of beer, soft drink etc.) and a food item, such as a burger. There is also a bar which will be open throughout the day and additional food will be purchasable. This is a great opportunity to catch two historic sporting events in one day, as well as an excuse to don the light blue and cheer on Cambridge!
