The inaugural Oxbridge Dash cycling challenge will take place on June 7th and 8th. The race, the first student-led bicycle race spanning the 150 kilometers between the university towns of Cambridge and Oxford, will pit students and other members of the two communities against each other both on the road and via Twitter photo challenges.
Proceeds from the event will go to Aiducation International, a for-impact organization, dedicated to giving people access to education. Founded in 2007, the organization awards merit-based high school scholarships to bright and needy students in developing countries (focus on Kenya and the Philippines).
Teams can register at http://www.oxbridgedash.org/choose-your-destiny until May 2nd. Fundraising for the event will remain open up until June 7th.
