Africa Together – Cambridge celebrates Africa Day

African Society of Cambridge University (ASCU) is pleased to present the biggest event in Cambridge celebrating Africa this year. The event commemorating Africa Day will be packed with fantastic speakers, including Amadou Mahtar Ba, Chief Executive of the African Media Initiative, Fola Adeola, Chief Executive of Guaranty Trust Bank, Sona Jobarteh, the first female kora player to come from a Griot family and Sir David King, the Foreign Secretary’s Special Representative for Climate Change and Science Advisor to the President of Rwanda.

There will also be food from across the continent, music, fashion, networking with potential employers and and more…

Early Bird tickets are £5 and Regular tickets £10 which includes full access to the day’s programme and exhibition halls, lunch, tea/coffee, a drinks reception and entry to the after party.
