Cambridge Speaks its Mind

Cambridge Speaks its Mind is a facebook-based project, dedicated to sharing current and former students’ experiences of the university’s welfare system. It was set up in 2013 by a small group of Cambridge students. Each of us has had personal negative experience of Cambridge’s welfare system.
We aim to identify areas of welfare provision that need improvement, and to help students who have had negative experiences to see that they are not alone in their troubles. We are evolving into a campaigning entity, working constructively with colleges and the university to improve welfare provision at Cambridge. The testimonies which students share with us guide our campaigning aims.
If you have an experience that you would like to share, be it large or small, please do consider sending it to us. Testimonies are kept confidential: we anonymise your story, delete the original message, and our team have all signed confidentiality agreements.
If you don’t want to share your story but are interested in the project, please have a look at our facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Cambridge-Speaks-Its-Mind), or follow us on twitter ([at]cambridgespeaks)
