The Innovation Forum is hosting a speed dating event for students interested in the competition to mingle and put together winning teams. You’ll also have the chance to chat to past participants about their experiences with Biotechnology YES and pick up tips for a successful venture.
Biotechnology YES [1] is an innovative competition for early-career researchers that gives an insight into the processes involved in the
commercialisation of bioscience. It will develop and improve transferable skills including communication, negotiation and team-building. Participants are schooled by successful entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and patent attorneys and have the chance to directly engage with them in development sessions. This is an invaluable
opportunity for anyone interested in bringing biological innovation to market.
