Cambridge Pythons Varsity Match: Sunday, 30th November.

This Sunday, one of the longest standing and biggest rivalries in sport is being reignited. Cambridge against Oxford.

This time it is the Cambridge Pythons taking on the Oxford Lancers at Varsity Bowl IX. The game is being held under floodlights at the rugby club’s home ground on Grange Road, with kickoff at 4pm. But this is not just going to be an American football game, there will be entertainment both on and off the field.

Apart from the game, there will be cheerleading performances, a halftime pie eating contest, and of course plenty of food and drink at the bar. The game will be announced and commentated on and there will be a gameday programme to get you up to speed with everything that’s going on. Then post-game, the bar will be put to good use before heading into town for the Official Varsity Bowl After Party.

It does not matter if you are the biggest football fan or do not know the rules at all, you will definitely want to see this! Entry is free with a suggested donation to help pay for running costs at the venue. But if you can’t make it, we’ll have a live video stream of the game and CamFM providing live commentary.
