Volunteer your academic skills for good causes!
OxFizz is a social enterprise, now into its seventh year, raising money for charity by providing educational services. We’re currently recruiting tutors for our two-week summer schools (July and August).
*What? Delivering tutorials on a summer school in Oxford. Whilst we are eager to hear from anyone who is interested in getting involved, we are particularly eager to hear from those who study/have studied: Economics, Biological Sciences, Bio-medical Sciences, Psychology, Engineering, Politics and IR, History, English and Law.
*Who? Any enthusiastic postgraduate student or postdoc
*How big a commitment? Designing and delivering an exciting and challenging course of eight tutorials, and teaching them to small groups of bright and motivated 16-18 year old students
*Why? Raise money for any charity of your choice (about £1500 per two weeks) and gain valuable teaching experience!
