If you’ve not yet heard of the Howler, it’s a regular comedy night at the University that features up-and-coming Cambridge talent, with a professional compere and a big-name headline act (past performers include Russell Howard, Milton Jones, Tim Key, Josh Widdicombe and Jon Richardson).

We’re delighted to have the brilliant John Robins joining us as our headline act for this event. John’s solo show ‘Where is my mind’ was the highest reviewed show of the Edinburgh festival with ThreeWeeks awarding him their Editor’s Choice Award. He’s also appeared on 8 out of 10 cats, Russell Howard’s Good News and Arthur Smith’s Comedy Club, while he has written for Stand Up For The Week and Twit of The Year.

We hope that you’ll be able to join us!!

Here’s what the press has to say about John Robins:

“A former flatmate of a clutch of successful Bristol-based comics that included Russell Howard and Jon Richardson, John Robins could be the next of his peer group to go on to greater things.”

– The Independent ****

“An hour in his charming, generous and honest company is so effortlessly entertaining”

– Chortle ****

“One of the most naturally gifted comedians I’ve seen”

– Telegraph
