Graduate students needed for BMAT marking

We are holding a two week marking session in November 2015 and we would like to invite graduate students to mark BMAT essays.

Marking period: Monday 9th November – Wednesday 18th November 2015

Compulsory attendance for on Monday 9th November and morning of 10th November

Salary: £19.40 per hour

Location: Cambridge

Cambridge English is currently recruiting graduate students to mark candidate’s written responses for the

BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT). Marking will be conducted under supervision in Cambridge, between

the dates shown above. No specialist knowledge is required as training will be given to successful

applicants.

Applicants need to be able to commit to a minimum of five 3.5 hour sessions in the first week and eight

sessions in total over the whole marking period.

Cambridge University have strict regulations regarding employment that graduate students can undertake

while studying and how many hours a week they can work during term time, so you should make sure that

your supervisor is aware that you are undertaking this work.  You can find more information about the

An initial preliminary meeting and compulsory recruitment test for those interested in marking will be

scheduled and the date confirmed shortly. Applicants must successfully complete this test in order to be

considered for marking during the session.
