To inaugurate the College’s new Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences Group, the College is holding an event on the evening of Thursday 19 November – from 7.30 in the Peter Richards Room. This will be a symposium with a buffet, and Dr Sara Silvestri, Senior Lecturer in International Politics at City University, Research Associate at the Von Hugel Institute, and Affiliated Lecturer in the Department of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) in Cambridge has been invited to address the symposium to start the discussion.
This promises to be a pleasant and intellectually innervating evening launching the HASS Group and stimulating the collegiate atmosphere at Hughes Hall. The intention is that the event will be an opportunity for the College’s senior membership and students with interests in HASS subjects to mix and develop our academic presence in College and more widely.
