TRANSHUMANISM: RESITUATING HUMANITY

Apotheosis Trinity College Cambridge is proud to announce the second
part of its 2016 Spring Conference – ‘Transhumanism: Resituating
Humanity’ on Saturday 12 March.

What are the normative implications of rapid technological developments,
such as artificial general intelligence or extreme longevity?

What happens if people stop ageing?
Should humanity develop supercomputers even if they might eradicate
human kind?

The aim of this conference is to gain clarity on the present state of
these transhumanist projects and the direct implications of the chances
of their success for our thinking about the role of the human being.

Tickets are £8 each (until 24th February, tickets are available for
£5!)
