The college would like to hold a focus group with some students who are progressing to further studies, e.g. MPhil to PhD. The purpose of the group is to determine:
– What are the reasons students leave Hughes and apply for other colleges, or alternately, why students elect to stay.
– What impact do scholarships/bursaries have on the decision making process? How much would be sufficient to make an impact?
