In or Out? The EU/Brexit Debate
Hughes Hall will hold a debate on the EU referendum – clearly the biggest decision facing Britain for a generation – on Thursday 9th June, the penultimate day of term. Let’s get a full house of Hughesians from across the spectrum, and with contributions from seniors, staff and students. Come and get involved, and sign up to reserve a place as soon as possible. You are welcome to come and speak from the floor, or simply to listen and participate electronically.
REMAIN: proposed by Prof Derek Smith (Dept of Zoology), seconded by HH PhD student Philip Luther-Davies.
LEAVE: proposed by Prof Robert Tombs (Faculty of History), seconded by HH BA student Jacob Lewis.
