The Cambridge University Rugby 2nd Team (“The LX (sixties) Club”) are playing the Oxford University 2nd XV Team (“The Greyhounds”) at home in Cambridge on Wednesday 30th November.
Two Hughesians: Maximilian Campbell and Jack Fernon are playing for Cambridge alongside four other regular members of the Hughes Hall and St. Edmund’s Combined College Rugby Team.
The LXs Varsity Match has a proud history stretching back over 100 years and is both the culmination of a season and an important milestone on the way to the 1st team Varsity Match at Twickenham. Last season, the LXs sustained a disappointing defeat but were victorious in both the 2013 and 2014 encounters and are looking to resume winning ways.
Kick-off is at 14:30 on Wednesday and all Hughes Hall supporters are encouraged to come down to support the team!
