College Events

Dear all
College events over the next week …

Time Wed 9 May, 19.00 – 20.30
Event BIRTH, DEATH AND MIGRATION: FROM RESEARCH TO PUBLIC POLICY
Details Research in the social sciences can be highly relevant to a wide range of public policy areas. History is not just about the past, but is crucial for understanding the present and making effective future plans. Professor Michael Anderson (University of Edinburgh) illustrates this point by drawing on recently published research. Contributors with direct experience of forming government policy will also add to the discussion.
