Welcome to the Hughes-Lucy Badminton Club page!
We are a fairly large, active club that plays once a week at Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre on Thursdays from 9-11pm (free of charge to all attendees, and only a 2 minute walk from the Porters Lodge). There are a range of standards from beginner to advanced level, however the atmosphere is friendly and we encourage everyone to play a game together!
We also participate in both the University League and Cuppers (knockout tournament), which consists of double matches played throughout the year of which we will be looking for 12 players to participate regularly. If you are interested in joining check us out at the Hughes fresher’s fair or just turn up at one of the sessions.
