Hughes Hall’s basketball team has traditionally played at a high level, rocking between Divisions 1 and 2 (of 5) in the College League. We will start the Michaelmas term season in Division 2 with every intention of winning a promotion to play in Division 1 during Lent term. The team also participates in the College cup in Lent and Easter terms.
Practices are friendly and open to all. They take place in Kelsey Kerridge, the sports center just next door to Hughes, and will usually start with technical exercises for the first half and end with us playing a friendly match. We usually also play 4-5 league matches against other colleges each term which take place on Saturday/Sunday afternoons.
Trainings: Wednesday evening (21:00 – 22:00) and Thursday evening (22:00 – 23:00).
