Hughes Hall traditionally opens May Week with a bang with our May Ball that falls on the first Saturday, which this year is Saturday 14th June. For everyone in the College, this will be the last time that we are together as the 2013-14 cohort, a cause that should be celebrated in style. The May Ball will transform the college with live entertainment in the form of some of Cambridge’s best bands playing into the early hours, on stages spread across the Hughes grounds. We will party until the sun comes up!
With this year’s theme, “Terra Do Brasil”, expect a Carnival atmosphere, the big sounds of samba, lots of bright colours and some exotic cocktails and foods. Ticket holders can expect food from the stalls around Hughes, as well as free alcohol throughout the night! There will also be a fabulous three course meal for those that sign up to the dinner tickets.
We hope that this year will be full of joy, and for many of you the successful completion of a year studying at one of the world’s top universities. There is no better way to celebrate than by joining us on what promises to be a night you will never forget!
